Free GuruWalk City Walk Amsterdam
A city walk is one of the best ways to get to know Amsterdam. But when you start walking without a special plan or instructions, you not only get lost, but also miss many sights and attractions on the way. The solution is: join a GuruWalk. Your guru, the guide, knows the city like the back of his hand. Which language the guide speaks is clearly indicated in the descriptions of the walks. Most GuruWalks in Amsterdam are in English, but several are in Spanish and Italian
What is GuruWalk
GuruWalk is a platform that offers city walks in many cities all over the world from Athens to Yerevan and from Barcelona to Phnom Penh. The walks are free, but afterwards you pay the tour guide a tip. You determine the amount yourself, on average this tip is usually between 10 and 20 euros per person, depending on the quality of the tour and the enthusiasm of the guide.
Why go on a GuruWalk tour?
It is a relaxed way to discover Amsterdam because the guide takes you to unknown places, (unknown to most tourists but known to the guide). There are about 50 GuruWalks in Amsterdam to choose from.
How to book a GuruWalk?
You book the tour for free via the GuruWalk website. You will receive an email confirmation and you pay afterwards by means of a tip of which you determine the amount yourself. Download the GuruWalk app for your convenience.
